I'm glad to have found "The Shifted Librarian" and wouldn't have if not for RSS feeds. It gave me a chance to read about the CiL conference and a topic that interests me - Teens and Gaming in Libraries - as there are two of those human types that live in my home!

Finally, we can view your blog...yikes, it took awhile, didn't it?
Hi Scout, I just found your blog. What a great name and your beagles are gorgeous. I'm glad they found a home with you.
Beagles, or bagels as we sometimes call them at our house, are absolutely the most human of dogs. I don't know if that's a compliment or not.
We have two of the girls -- one is a beagle mix and the other a full honey beagle. Eating is a happening for them. So is sleeping under covers or in the sun or chasing small furry rodents who run along fences. Yep, they're busy girls.
Both were abandoned. Shame on the former owners, but happy for us!
Thanks for making my day with the picture of the Ball Beagles!

Hope and Grace; tell Scout to hang in there. With your help things will move along. And while moderation is a good thing, every once in a while one must just break loose and engage in overindulgence. Since there were no real long lasting effects, I imagine it might not be the last time, unless of course Scout has learned the lesson you were trying to teach.
